The position will also provide daily lunchtime coverage for the front reception area. The incumbent will perform sample accessioning, data entry and reporting media and glassware preparation receipt and stocking of laboratory supplies, and perform routine preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment. This position will provide support for the analysis of environmental and clinical samples. This position will fill a key support role in the laboratory. Validation certifies that the autoclave sterilizes and decontaminates equipment and biological material as specified by the manufacturer and meets other applicable guidelines and requirements.The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Bureau of Laboratories (IBL) is seeking a Laboratory Technician.
